Wow! What an honor and privilege it is to have 2 shining stars in our midst today.
JAYESSLEE, Youtube sensation brought the house down today at CHC.
Sharing their testimony and their God given talents, they sure showed everyone what God is capable of.

It’s really great to see Christians shining in the marketplace for God. Indeed, God is always good =)

While listening to the 2 of them sing, it got me thinking of my God Bros, Adam and Amos.
A vision of both of them being on stage and doing something similar just came upon me. I cried in the midst of this vision as I know God would use them in an even mightier way.

Catching Up

Out with my NDP 2010 OS peeps. Really miss them a lot.

It is really a great time of catching up. Seeing them again after such a long time really brings back the memories of NDP 2010.

Well, this outing is to celebrate the promotion of a few of them.
First, we went to Swissotel for buffet dinner followed by a time of drinking.
Thank you sirs for the promo treat and congrats to all on the promotion =)

My Life, Your Song

Sometimes in life, we just need someone to remind us the reason for going through the hardships in life.
One such person is Pastor Kong. His preaching never fails to make me realise that I need to stay strong in the midst of sufferings.
This is probably why I stay in church. To keep my strength and having a family to support me in whatever I do.
Every time when I’m on the verge of giving up (and it is quite often), God is never too late. He would appear and speak to me. He has always been there. The reason why He appears is quite clear - He doesn’t want me to quit.

People might doubt my faith, say bad things about the church or even Christianity but it will never waver my trust in the Lord.
Sometimes, I feel sad for those people because they have never felt sacrificial love. To them, I hope to be like Christ. To show and shower them with the love of the Lord.

Thank you God for preventing me from making a decision I would regret. Singing is the destiny You have given me and no one can take that away.
I will sing for You in all my days.

End of Complains

I’m quite tired of always complaining abt this abt that.
The only reason why I complain is because it is a big deal to me if not, I wouldn’t even bother.

Been complaining for the past few years and nothing much has changed. I’m no longer gonna complain because I’m too tired to be bothered anymore.
I shall just silently disappear and when u finally have the time to realize, it would be too late.

Somewhere Else

Everyday, work - home.
I feel like just leaving and going to a place where people are not too busy. Or at least, in the midst of their busyness, they can still have time to spend with a friend.

There isn’t a relationship at all.
It is just a repeat of the previous times.
In the end, work and ministry still precedes friendship and love.

Maybe I’m asking too much for once a month.

Bus Wondering

In the bus right now and a sudden thought came into my mind.
When I was in secondary school, I didn’t have much.
I could not sing, I look quite terrible and I was basically not popular or famous. Not many people know me but I was super happy.
Every day, staying back in school with friends to complete assignments. Playing basketball whenever we felt like it.
Going kbox despite me knowing how to sing yet.

Sounds like a boring sec school life but I really miss it a lot. It was and still is the happiest days of my life.
I haven felt that happiness ever since except when my bro Richard calls me from Malaysia and during his wedding.

What an awesome friend. In the midst if his busy work life and married life, finding time to keep in contact with me from Malaysia!
Little time spent but that little time brings great happiness.
Hope I can find that happiness once again.

Watched “The Green Lantern” movie today with my bro...

Watched “The Green Lantern” movie today with my bro Aswin.
The movie was simply awesome. The effects were amazing. How the actor could create the different objects with his ring and the realism of those objects.
It is definitely one of the better movies I’ve watched this year.

An even more awesome thing is that my bro sacrificed his sleep to watch the movie with me.
Watching a late night movie on a weekday is no walk in the park for any SOT student because they have to wake up super early the next day.
Really thankful of his sacrifice and love.
